Description

Washers have a round hole and are also called washers, for example. These washers are preferably used together with hexagon head screws, machine screws, nuts, threaded rods, self-locking nuts, spring washers and body washers, in Allen applications in steel and wood construction, as well as as protective elements for surfaces.
The washers are made from high-quality materials and punched by hand.
All seals have a thickness of 2 mm.

The mechanical specifics of NBR include high abrasion resistance, good tensile and tear strength as well as low compression set. In terms of thermal properties, the elastomer is temperature-resistant between a maximum of -30 °C and +120 °C - depending on the specific composition and proportion of acrylonitrile.
NBR in standard material quality has a medium acrylonitrile content in order to cover the widest possible range of applications. As a standard material, the material shows good mechanical values, including good resistance to mineral oil-based lubricating oils and greases as well as to water up to around +80° C.

If the acrylonitrile content is low, the resistance to oils and fuels is reduced. The material is significantly more flexible at low temperatures. A high proportion of acrylonitrile worsens the mechanical behavior in cold conditions, but improves the resistance to oils and fuels. In general, the temperature resistance of NBR is lower than that of EPDM.
In general, NBR is impermeable to gas and air, which is why the material is well suited for use in industry and in gas supply.
