Ruggles Heavy Horse 100g Stable Rug With Fleece Collar - Anti Rub Lining

The Heavy Horse 100g stable rug with fleece collar is an excellent lightweight option. This stable rug with fleece collar feature and tail flap is a very smart looking rug. It is an ideal choice as a lone rug in warmer weather or for layering in colder months.

The rug is designed for the heavier breeds. For this reason they are more generous at the chest and have greater depth and coverage down the sides.

The rug has a soft nylon lining which helps prevent rubbing and keeps the coat smooth. There are double adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers to help unfastening, a generous tail flap and a fillet string is fitted to help prevent the back end of the rug moving.

At the chest there are double adjustable chest straps with D rings and quick release clips. Once adjusted to the size of the horse the rug is therefore very quick and easy to put on. This is particularly appreciated in the colder months!

The stable rug has very generous shoulder gussets. These allow the horse easier movement particularly when getting up and down which reduces the chance of rubbing.

It is machine washable and comes packed in a zipped bag with handles useful for keeping the rug in when not in use.
