This uncirculated 100 Mexican peso note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Mexico. It is a red and blue polymer note that is dated 21 May 2021, bear the signatures of Irene Espinosa Cantellano and Alejandro Alegre Rabiela, and measures 132 mm x 65 mm. Both sides of the note are vertically oriented. Its obverse side features Juana Ines de la Cruz and the patio of the “Antiguo Colegio” in San Ildefonso College. Its reverse side shows monarch butterflies and the States of Michoacan and Ocampo. Because the note is made of polymer substrate, it does not have a security thread or a watermark. However, it has a clear window with a BANCO DE MEXICO and butterflies.
