Have confidence when you shift!

For those in any doubt this listing does not include the sim gearbox :)

The problem: I want to put a real gear knob on my driving force Logitech Shifter. The same shifter used for the G29, the G920 and G923 variations of the Logitech wheel.

The Logitech OEM gear knob is made of plastic and weighs 40g it detracts from the realism when your racing or drifting on tarmac or mud.
My original solution to the problem was to turn to my 3D printer.
Even when I printed in the strongest material (Carbon impregnated) it didn't pass my usual strength test and a number of adapter designs snapped or wobbled after a while.
I moved to stainless steel to replicate the OEM look. The core of the solution is a stainless steel adapter that screws into the Logitech shifter. There is a further threaded adapter allowing the adjustment of the orientation of the knob

The 6 speed gear knob that I have sourced is 100% aluminium and has a diameter of 40mm and is 60mm high and weighs 150g

Fitting Instructions
  1. Gently pry the plastic cap off of your Logitech gear shifter using a flat blade.

  2. Use a Philips screwdriver to undo the screw underneath and remove the OEM knob

  3. Screw the gear knob into place.

  4. When you get more resistance continue to turn clockwise until the orientation of the gear knob is correct.
