This coin celebrates the Reshetylivka carpet-making Style -Ukrainian heritage from Poltava oblast.

Weaving, carpet-making and embroidery experts from Reshetylivka  first rose to national fame in the late 19th century. They had a keen understanding of the fundamentals and patterns of folk art, which they passed down from generations to generation. The breed of fine-wool sheep that is typical of that area, high-quality wool, unique hand-embroidery and weaving techniques, and folk experience made it possible for handcraft to develop rapidly.

The Reshetylivka carpet-making style is characterized by special stylized floral motifs that look like broken branches with flowers and leaves.
