First introduced in 1958, the Crestwood was renamed the Crestwood Custom in 1959.
The Crestwood Custom was marketed as Epiphone's first solidbody electric guitar with two pickups. Now Epiphone is reissuing the Crestwood Custom as the latest limited edition model to celebrate Epiphone's 150th anniversary.
The asymmetrical solid mahogany double-cutaway body design ensures smooth fingering in the high position for the player.
Regarding the neck shape, a comfortable-to-play 60's slim taper D-profile is used. The headstock is designed in the famous "batwing" style and is equipped with Wilkinson 6-row tuners with metal buttons.
For the electronics portion, two U.S.-made Gibson Mini Humbuckers are employed, wired to a CTS potentiometer, a Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch, and a 1/4" output jack.
An Epiphone Tremtone vibrato tailpiece gives players more options for expression.
The included 150th Anniversary Historic Hardshell Case features the Epiphone 150th Anniversary logo.
