This is the ignition trim ring removed from a 1979 450 SL Mercedes convertible r107 chassis

If you look at your ignition trim ring there should be a silver ring around the black barrel

If the silver ring isn't there it's missing and this is the part that replaces that

This is a used original trim ring that is made from aluminum it has wear and tear bending scratches cracking in the black rubber etc.

This can also stop a little bit of vibration as well
