Antique Rare Colour Handmade Painting Framed - Morrocan Army Desert

So this is a handmade painting that I have, It belonged to my grandmother and I am sure I was told it represents two army's coming together in the desert (based on a real life war) but other than that, I have no idea what the painting is and who painted it

I also have no idea if it is an oil panting, acrylic etc.. Painting isn't my thing

Unfortunately it does have a couple of chips where the paint has come off as you can see in the picture
