All of the known DOUBLE ENDED nursing bottles are believed to be

of English manufacture. This bottle was very popular in England

but was never widely used in the United States. Although there

is a report of a DOUBLE ENDED bottle being retailed in this

country, it cannot be verified at the present time. The fittings

consist of a pull-on nipple and a rubber valve for the vented end

of the bottle. This nurser was supposed to be very difficult to

use because the valve had to be continuously adjusted. DOUBLE

ENDED nursing bottles were made in two, tour and eight ounce sizes
