Battery powered 48V heat pump - this works as a portable air conditioner rated 1 ton, which is a lot for a small unit like this - yet it only draws 750 watts. Furthermore it operates as a heater. When used as a heater it is more efficient than a typical resistive heater.

You need to have a battery to run this unit. Example: four lead acid 12 volt batteries connected in series. A better example: 16 3.2 volt LiFePO4 batteries connected in series..

You need 750 watts to run it so you can use that to calculate how much solar or wind power you need to make daily and how much to store, to use this air conditioner whenever you want. If you need help calculating this you're always welcome to message us we know & use the products we use so here to help.

Perfect for completely off grid locations where you use batteries already, including green houses. We also have window units, and mini splits from 9,000 BTU/h to 36,000 BTU/h, on 24V and 48V systems. Systems over 9,000 BTU/h are 48V only.

Bulk order discounts welcome. Shipping to Puerto Rico is extra $150. We can also ship this to Canada and Mexico, contact to double check shipping costs.
