This is a vintage Goebel Hummel figurine called School Boy and marked HUM 82 with a TMK 6 backstamp.

This Hummel was designed by Master Sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1938.  Over the years, it had several different names:  Little Scholar, School Days and Primer Boy.  The TMK 6 backstamp indicates it was made in the 1980s.

This Hummel bears a painter's signature marked '80. 

It measures 5.5 inches tall.

It is very nice condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  It does have a small amount of age-related crazing.  SEE PHOTOS

It is a Hummel that all collectors want in their collection.
