Here is a wonderful Remington Paragon Standard Model 12 desktop style stationary typewriter made in the United States sometime during the 1920s. There is not much information about the Paragon Series of model 12 typewriters from Remington, so it is difficult to pinpoint an exact date for this rare model.

This typewriter from the American company Remington, (Remington Typewriter Company), was made in the period 1922-1927. At the Hagley Museum and Liberty there is production information showing that model no. 12 was introduced in 1922 and discontinued in 1927. In 1927 the company also changed its name to Remington Rand after a merger. This helps to support the dating. Is a unique and collectible piece for any fan of vintege writing instruments
