QUARK QK-A013 12V to 5V Standard Converter 1.5 Amp
If you are looking for a standard 12-24V to 5V DC power supply to run a digital circuit or just want to charge your device battery, this 1.5 Amp version of the Quark QK-A013 provides a higher current than the low noise 500mA version while keeping the standard power ripple level.
The QK-A013 is a 12.0V to 5.0V power converter which converts 12.0V (or 24.0V) battery power into a stable 5.0V USB power source.
The QK-A013 can easily be connected to different types of batteries. It is most frequently used on boats, cars, and caravans when a stable 5.0V power source is needed for sensitive equipment requiring a USB connection (marine electronic devices, mobile phones, etc.).
Minimal Noise Interference
In addition, it is ideal if you have electronic equipment like radio, TV, AIS Receiver, etc. nearby.

The 12V Battery Indicator

Please note: The 12V battery indicator will only work when connected to a 12V battery. The converter will also work if you want to convert 24V to 5V, please note the battery indicator will not work when connected to a 24V battery.
When to use
The QK-A013 can easily be connected to different types of batteries – whether on your boat, in a car, caravan and have an electric device that needs a 5 volt supply.
How to use
Simply connect the power source cable to your 12V.
On the other side of the QK-A013, simply plug in your USB device.
The battery indicator will help you keep track of the battery life. This is very important with 12-volt batteries.

- a low 0.8μ Voltage Root Mean Square Value (VRMS)
- a high 1 Mhz Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR).
This combination results in very accurate and stable output current.
