We are not secondhand dealers. All our used equipment comes from part exchanges from our customers and we give very good trade in prices so in nearly all cases we have no profit margin in secondhand equipment and just simply sell it on to you at the price we paid. Sometimes we are not the absolute cheapest but always feel our pricing is fair to both sides and of course, as one of the UK's most respected High-end retailers, all sales are completely risk and stress free and supported with full dealer facilities and all the usual protective consumer rights.

Please note that in 2019 Paypal sadly decided to stop refunding their fees to the retailer when refunds are made. This means that if you pay for goods using paypal but then decide to then cancel the order, Lotus Hifi are still liable for these fees. In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, unless the item was faulty or arrived or damaged in transit, we reserve the right to recover these costs and deduct them from the refund, for example if you decide on a whim that you do not want the item, you order it in error or you did not like the sound of it.
