Candide By Voltaire, Illus. by Paul Klee, Pantheon Books, VTG, Limited. This book is in good condition. The binding is intact, but has bumping and edgewear (see photos). The red cloth covering is pulling away slightly at the top edge and there’s a scratch on the front on one side. The pages are free of markings, but there’s a slight yellowing with age. This edition with twenty six illustrations by Paul Klee was limited to 625 copies. Guggenheim.org states the date is possibly 1920 or 1944, but not specifically stated and no date in book.
