I met Michael Collins in person at the national air and space museum in Washington DC, July 2009 for the 40th anniversary celebration of Apollo 11 landing on the moon.

As far as I know, Mr. Collins was a reluctant signer and autograph grantor, and this was a very special opportunity to meet him and have him personally sign the book I have here for sale.

I was one of the first 50 people or so in line so this book was signed while Mr. Collin’s hand was still rested and steady.

It’s been stored in bubble wrap in a climate controlled environment in a dark closet. It’s as crisp as the day I bought it and had it signed. It has never been opened to read. I carefully opened the title page to take a picture of Michael Collins signature.

I absolutely guarantee the authenticity of the signature. Michael Collins signed this book right in front of me.
