This vintage print faithfully reproduces the original Audubon print right down to the large size and the smallest notations, including page number and plate number.

Notations on the print are:

Upper left:  "No. 74."

Upper right:   "PLATE, CCCLXXVII."

Lower left:  "Drawn from Nature by J. J. Audubon, F.R.S, F.L.S."

Lower right:  "Engraved, Printed & Coloured, by R. Havell, 1837"

This piece is presented in a wood frame with double matting in subtle colors that complement the subtle colors of the print. Hanging wire at verso. Professionally framed.
