Here is a 1978 Fender Telecaster in original Olympic White! Although it has been played, it is quite clean for its age. The pickup is an all original save for rewound neck pickup. This was rewound by Five Star Guitars luthier Ian Pender. There is less than normal wear for the era, and the body is very clean with only a few scattered dings in the finish. Original color has faded/yellowed slightly. Pot codes (only one is visible) date to ’78. There is a stamp/tag in neck pocket that matches the serial # on the neck. Original frets are clean and still tall enough to make this very comfortable to play. Very little neck finish wear. It is a heavy one, weighing in at 9.6 lbs.

Nut= 1.63″

Neck Thickness at 1st Fret= .85″ at 12th Fret= .92″

-Original Black Rectangle Molded HSC Included

-Original “Ashtray” bridge cover included.

A string tuner is slightly shorter. This is due to a local shop (NOT Five Star Guitars) fixing the loose tuner head with a soft mallet. It still tunes and holds pitch as normal.

It is an excellent playing and sounding guitar. I recently purchased a Warmoth custom neck and found that I like the massive necks much more.
