We have recently come into possession of items from the estate of Sally Pleet. Ms. Pleet was an accomplished artist, discerning collector, and businesswoman who co-owned and operated an art store – “Things Japanese” - in Manhattan for over 30 years. This inheritance includes works of art she created, items she picked up during her extensive travels, and works bestowed on her by various artists, including her husband John Bradley, friends Bob Levering, Barry Cohen and Lawrence Bickford, and her uncle, Theodore Haupt. We are pleased to offer these one-of-a-kind art works at reasonable prices.

Bob Levering was a master illustrator whose work can be seen on countless magazine ads throughout the 1950’s and 1960’s, including ones for Pepsi, Lady Remington, and other national brands. Bob was also a longtime faculty member of the illustration department at the Parsons School of Design.
