Vintage Handmade Sunbonnet Sue Quilted Wall Hanging. 25"x32" It has 4 tabs across the top to put a rod through to hang on your wall or it can also be used as a Baby Quilt or a Lap Quilt. Would look so sweet in a Crib.
This quilt has been pieced by hand and quilted by hand.
A lot of love and time went into the making of this sweet quilt. Small rick rack has been added to each bonnet. The fabrics are adorable with tiny hearts or flowers on each one. This is in excellent vintage condition. I have laundered it and it washed beautifully. From a very nice, very clean estate sale in Palm Harbor, Florida.
I believe it was the estate of the quilt maker. I'm guessing it was made in the 1950s. I bought another Sunbonnet Sue quilt at the same sale that was cross stitched in vibrant colors also with the same pink sashing and white fabric backing with a label that said Made by Grandma.
