On Offer is this unique vintage late 1950’s - early 1960’s .950 Sterling Silver Money Clip Made by Yamato of Yokohama , Japan Depicting a Japanese Shinto Shrine with a U.S. Dollar sign in the background . This has a higher Sterling Silver content .950 or 95% Silver as opposed to Sterling being .925 . It is signed on the back with the Yamato symbol of the letter Y in a circle and is also stamped Sterling .950 . The clip is not tight enough for one bill but could hold a wad of bills easily and the Center has an opening for monogramming if need be . It measures 2-11/16 x 1-5/8 inches in length and width and weighs 21.52 grams . The preowned condition is good to very good , there is usage wear surface scratching to the back mostly by lightly on the front , I can see no dents or dings to the piece . This will be carefully packaged and shipped in a sturdy box . Thank you .
