In fair condition. Green cloth boards are scuffed at edges and worn/bumped at corners. Head and tail of spine collapsed. Gilt lettering on spine bright and clean. Gilt lettering and illustration on front board are rubbed, but still legible. All edges marbled. Toning throughout text-block. Foxing in some places, especially tissue guards. All tissue guards are present, but bent/chipped at edges and corners. Binding is intact, but fragile in some places. Please see photos and ask questions, if any, before purchasing. 

Levi Walter Yaggy (1848-1912) was educated at the old Northwestern College at Naperville, Illinois & afterwards, went to Chicago where he became engaged in the publishing business for twenty-five years. He was president and chief stockholder in the Great Western Publishing House, which had seventeen branch offices and five-thousand agents throughout the United States. Yaggy was also the the patentee of numerous devices of a convenient sort.
