All is Calm get it’s name from the focus fabric used in the
center and in the center blocks. The quilt is shown on top of a queen size bed and is 77" by 56". This
quilt is made up of grey, yellow, turquoise and light turquise fabrics. Four patches and rail blocks are set around a peaceful winter scene. The back is a white/yellow/gold snowflake cotton
print. The Quilting pattern is called Sea of Stars. The batting is
Warm and Natural cotton batting (made by the Warm Company). The binding is sewn on by machine for added
durability. This quilt was made in a
smoke free home, where the pets do not shed.
About us – We met
while working together in El Centro, CA. We would take off on Friday
afternoons, set up our sewing machines on the kitchen table and sew the day
away. Our sewing machines went on all our work trips with us. We continue to
meet up at her house or mine or meet somewhere in the middle and sew for the
whole weekend. We are quilting for the love of quilting. We sell at our cost to
get quilts to people who enjoy them, keep them from piling up on our beds and
