Henri BOULAGE (1882-1967) Colored pencil drawing Château des Brouillards Montmartre

Henri Boulage, born in Draveil (Essone) in 1882, was a French post-impressionist painter who belonged to the Montmartre School. He lived in the "cité des artistes de Montmartre" until his death in 1967. Known for his paintings of Parisian neighborhoods, particularly Montmartre. He is considered a Master of Montmartre. Henri Boulage is listed in Bénézit, Dictionnaire des peintres de Montmartre, Artprice... These works are sought-after.

The famous painter Renoir lived in this château on the Butte-Montmartre.

Good condition (see photos). Watercolor signed, titled and dated Dec. 1960 lower left. Also titled and dated on the back.
