This is a extra weighted daggerboard for a topper dinghy. Weighing about 20kg it makes a topper ALOT more stable for beginners and is great for inspiring confidence in rougher conditions. My daughter found it impossible to capsize her topper with this fitted. Which really helped speed up her learning as her confidence became incredible.
