The Penn Metal Ceiling and Roofing Co. Trade Catalogue, Twenty-Ninth Series 1903-1904, 172 pp, pictorial soft cover wrappers, silk tie binding, 10.25 x 14”.

In good condition. Beautifully preserved! Light wear to extremities with scuffing to edges and corners. Small tear at binding at second puncture hole. Light creasing to edges with minor imperfections. Pigments on front cover remain bright and clean. Silk tie binding is lightly soiled with minor fraying, as to be expected. Rear cover scuffed with finger soiling at edges. Bookplate of Maurice Robert Des Marais on rear cover top left corner. Des Marais was a longtime faculty member in the Department of Architecture at Penn State College of Arts and Architecture and a corporate member of the American Institute of Architects. Internally good with light toning and minor finger soiling in the margins. Free of heavy chipping or toning. A lovely example. Please see photos.

Quite scarce. An incredibly interesting and ephemeral catalogue of decorative tin metal plates from The Penn Metal Ceiling and Roofing Co.! Perfect for conservators, social historians or historical restoration projects. Copiously illustrated in black and white photographs. A rare find as these were often discarded by the buyers.
