A decorative & rare tin by Huntley & Palmers - Crown derby Tin - 1955/56
The only one of these i can find is in the Reading Museum.
A round tin with a photograph of a Crown Derby china teapot on the lid. Named and dated cups and saucers are depicted around the sides against a turquoise background. Huntley & Palmers' stamp appears on the base. A red label also to the side of the tin with Huntley & Palmers & Crown Derby names attached.
This tin was by the design agency Richard Longsdale Hands. An elegant, calm example of 1950s design. Manufactured by Huntley Boorne & Stevens using offset litho.
