EVA Foam IRON MAN mk. 85 Head + Torso.

Started this project about 2 years ago after having made a full sized Ironman mk 42 suit which I sold. I ended up having to put this one on hold for some time and I eventually ended up buying multiple 3D printers and since then I have essentially stopped doing crafts using foam and am now planning on making a 3d printed mk. 50. Anyway I felt bad having this one just lying around not being worked on and having it’s potential wasted and I thought maybe someone else would want to take it off my hands and continue to work on it. I imagine someone with the know how could finish this suit in its entirety or even just finish, paint and add lights to these parts only and have it displayed as is.

It’s made entirely out of EVA foam and held together using a combination of super glue, contact cement and hot glue. It can come apart into 4 sections: helmet, neck, chest/upper back, and abdomen/lower back. The chest/upper back and abdomen/lower back parts are held together using snap on clips(see pictures for reference). The helmet(and only the helmet) has been coated with a couple of layers of epoxy resin for added rigidity. The plan was to eventually do this to the entire suit before sanding and painting was done. The face plate of the helmet is removable.

If you have any further questions or require anymore pictures/videos or information please contact me and I will provide you with anything I can. I can also provide you with the plans and designs I was using if you would like to use them to continue building the suit.

I recommend purchasing this with the intention of either displaying or selling it once completed and not for wearing it and using it as cosplay. All I can say is I am 5’11” and 205lbs. But even if you match those measurements or are close, it wouldn’t guarantee the suit will fit you. That being said, I will not accept returns due to the item not fitting you, so please keep that in mind.
