Traditionally styled,  this antique French faience wedding vase is classic in its colors with beautiful hand painted flowers on the front and back.  The pristine white porcelain is highlighted by gold accents. The floral decor features a hand painted bouquet. This style vase is also called a Bridal vases (vase de mariées).

Old Paris, or Vieux Paris porcelain was made in and around Paris from the late eighteenth century until the 1870's. Antique Traditional French Faience Vasesor vase d'église were very popular during the Napoleon III period 1840-1880 and remained popular throughout the turn of the century and early 1900s. Timeless accents like this vintage porcelain vase make a beautiful statement on their own or grouped together. Old Paris is usually not marked, this particular vase, however, shows the number 4 on the bottom with additional faded markings.
Standing at 11.25" H, this Bridal Vase is in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks.
