Stunning antique photo album from the early 1900s. Art Nouveau peach to red toned celluloid cover has embossed "Album" and floral design. Contains 12 pages of heavy card stock paper to mount cabinet cards and CDVs. The binding and right front corners are covered in dark red velvet and the back is white celluloid. The book has a silver metal latch closure and the pages have gold gilt edges.

The weighty photo album has its original cardboard box and was for sale at Humphrey's General Store in Southwestern Ontario. Covers are quite clean with only some minor spots on the back and slightly faded velvet. A fair amount of the gold gilt has worn off. The inside pages show lightly discolored edges and a bit of spotting. The latch has light corrosion. The box has a front side section torn out and the metal corner brackets are intact though the corners have torn.
