Stunning antique photo album from the early 1900s. Art Nouveau celluloid cover in blues is embossed with "Album" and a floral design. Contains 12 pages of heavy/thick card stock paper to mount cdv and cabinet cards. The binding and front right corners are covered in dark red velvet and the back is white celluloid. The book has a silver metal latch closure and gold gilt edges.

The weighty photo album has its original cardboard box and was for sale at Humphrey's General Store in Southwestern Ontario.

Condition is very good overall. The covers are quite clean with only some minor spots on the back and the velvet has light discoloration. The gilt edges have lost a fair amount of color and the inside pages show lightly discolored edges and a bit of spotting. The silver metal has minimal corrosion. The box lid has flattened and the metal corner brackets on the box bottom are intact though there are a few corner tears.
