This Fender Jazz Bass from 1978 is a classic beauty with a black body and maple blocked neck. The unique features of this bass is the low weight (for this era) of 9.2 lbs and rich sound. I would rate overall condition as very good. Original black finish shows honesty wear of a 45 year old bass. The original black pickguard and a second off white is included. Original pickups, pots, wiring, tuning heads, even the frets are in very good condition. Only the bridge , tug bar and knobs are not original. Neck is straight, no dips and tight to the body unlike other 3 bolt models of the era.. It has the original case in good condition but only the middle clasp works.
