Kuzmunchok is one of the popular amulets against the evil eye, used not only in Uzbekistan, but also in many Central Asian countries.


It consists of black or blue glass beads with white “eyes”. These are bracelets made of black and white beads - “kuzmunchok”, where the word “kuz” is an eye, “munchok” is a bead.


There are also decorative multi-colored options, but black and blue ones are considered the best in terms of protection.


Kuzmunchok is mainly made in the form of a bracelet, but other variations of use are not uncommon.


A prerequisite for making a kuzmunchok is manual production; it is believed that this is the only way it is endowed with energy capable of resisting evil forces.
