Here's an auger box axle assembly w/both cups and fasteners that came off an early 80's Wards 7/24 snowblower.  See pic 10 for serial # reference.  This should fit many Wards or MTD blowers of the same vintage, so please check your application.  This is a good unit and still worked well on the blower.  It just shows normal wear, staining, scratches, or minor pitting that these could accumulate from over 40 years of use.  It has nice plastic bushes, without excessive wear. It contacts both of the auger axle real well.  Devoid of brutal rust, They look good and will rotate well with lube.  The axle cups hold the shaft snugly and spins out real smooth. Both cups show very little rust or corrosion, which could be problematic with these. The end throwout washers show some typical hogging--common to these-- but still engage tightly.  This assembly is off a Colorado high desert blower, and rust isn't a huge factor here.  This older Wards, MTD snowblower stuff is getting difficult to find in good usable shape.  These are very good replacement parts or great for spares on this NLA equipment.  The ol' Wards/MTD blowers were tough and strongly build for many years of use.  Look for more parts off this blower in my other auctions.  Please look at the pictures.  Ask any questions that you might have.  Paypal payment due within 48 hrs of auction ending.  Carefully packaged and quickly shipped.  Thanks for looking.
