The FoxTail orchid, Rhychostylis gigantea is an epiphytic orchid species with rigid broad leaves on a fairly compact growing plant, although they do make large specimen eventually. You can expect a long pendulous inflorescence with a multitude of very fragrant blossoms in the late winter into spring. This variety produces big clusters of pure white blooms, one of my favorite white orchids.
