The body of this Edwardian silver bowl on plinth is embellished with two applied Art Nouveau triangular shaped scrolling designs, creating vacant cartouches
This impressive bowl is fitted with two C shaped handles incorporating Art Nouveau style thumbpieces and organic shaped flourishes to the terminals.
This exceptional antique silver cup is fitted to the original turned mahogony wood plinth, encircled with a later hallmarked vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.
ConditionThis antique Edwardian silver bowl on plinth is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the cup and later hallmarks to the inscription band are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
