1988-1991 Tonka Turbo-Diesel Crane.
In 1988 Tonka redesigned it's crane and went to the style you see in the picture. I'm not a real big fan of this style, Val is!, (easier to use) but Tonka was looking for ways to cut costs and this was the style that they decided to manufacture. This style ran from 1988 to 1991.
In 1992 the differences was the design and color of the clam and the decals, plus some changes on the body. In 1992, the color of the clam was changed from yellow to black. This is a very nice looking crane. Very few paint nicks. One rust spot on top back. Glass is good. Add this new style crane to your collection to complete it.
