"Au Lapin Agile" is a Paris cabaret located on the Montmartre hilltop, at 22 rue des Saules, in the 18th arrondissement. Established in the second half of the 19th century and bought by Aristide Bruant in 1913, it was one of the preferred meeting places of the artistic bohemia of the early 20th century, from Max Jacob to Pablo Picasso, via Roland Dorgelès, Francis Carco, Blaise Cendrars and Pierre Mac Orlan; later, in the 1940s-50s, it was frequented by Jean-Roger Caussimon and François Billetdoux, among others. It is still in business today.

Henri Boulage, born in Draveil (Essone) in 1882, was a French post-impressionist painter who belonged to the Montmartre School. He lived in the "cité des artistes de Montmartre" until his death in 1967. Known for his paintings of Parisian neighborhoods, particularly Montmartre. He is considered a Master of Montmartre.
