DescriptionThis exceptional antique Chinese Silverbox has a rectangular form onto four bracket style feet.
The surface of the body is embellished with impressive embossed and chased bamboo stalk decoration, all on a matte background.
This organic decoration is flanked with bands of rope twist decoration and applied moulded borders.
This antique box is fitted with a solid silver hinged cover, featuring further applied moulded decoration to the rim.
The plateau of the cover is embellished with an exceptional bordered panel depicting further embossed and chased bamboo stalk designs in addition to oriental floral and foliate decoration, all on a matte background.
This silver box is supported with four impressive bracket style feet, ornamented with a simplifiedfoliate design.
The interior of this impressive box retains the original gilding.
