Beautiful Soft Yellow and White Quilt, circa 1940’s. 69”x81”. Full or double sized.

Each of the two yellow fabrics is pieced to make the Eight Pointed Star. Then each star is needle turned appliqué onto the white square background fabric. The backing and binding is the same soft white cotton fabric as the front. The binding is finished by hand. The closer you look at this quilt, the more in awe you will be. This quilt was made by a master. The secondary design of the hand quilting is truly impressive. You will find quilts of this quality for $400 and up in quilt and antique shops.

Quilt is shown on my King Size Bed. Photos do not do this beautiful quilt justice.

This pattern is either Eight Pointed Star or LeMonye Star. They are incredibly similar.

Dimensions of Quilt: 69”x81"

The stars measure 16” across.

From a very nice estate in Clearwater Florida.

Condition: Incredible Excellent vintage condition with no stains, rips or tears. There is one very faded spot on front see last picture. Smells freshly laundered and looks super clean. Very well cared for and loved. Super soft and cuddly as all good vintage quilts are.
