Striking Colbalt Blue with a swirling water design in the fabric ...in a larger size.
Labelled "Jeanette Frocks"
Long collar piece crosses down & under the bustline and goes around to belt in the back.
The front bodice is inverted V seaming with upper darting for the bust.
There are 4 horizontal lines of stitching just above the center waist for extra shaping.
The sleeves are very full & dramatic with ruching down the center.
The center back is done in an open seam.
Side snap placket.
Belt loops at the waist.
The extra long peplum is hemmed with 4 rows of stitching for a nice finished effect.
There is a purple under panel which is seamed in with the outer construction of the dress.
The longer portion of the lower skirt is then sewn to this panel.
Condition is very very good. Fabric is strong with no odors. No fading.
The dress is very wearable with some minor issues.
The underarm fabric has some tension stress and should be reinforced from the inside.
There is also some very mild discoloration at the underarms.
There is a handful of small stains on the lower peplum & a couple on the bottom of the dress.
Depending on the wearer, the belt buckle might need to be adjusted for fit.
I did not attempt to lift the stains and the dress needs to be properly steamed.
The camera did not pick up the total watered effect of the fabric but the dress is consistent in pattern.
