This is an outstanding lens. The first zoom ever made, the Voigtlander Zoomar is increasingly rare these days, and especially so in the Zeiss IKON version. Most of the Zoomars you will find are in DKL mount which means they don't have an aperture ring on the lens, as the camera would control the aperture. This one is different - the IKON version is easier to convert and it retains aperture control with the silver ring you see at the bottom.

The lens has been converted to EF and is in excellent shape for the age. Largely clean with only minor dust, minor yellowing, and very minor separation in an element. (The separation is especially difficult to picture, but if you watch the video I attached around 00:35-00:40 you will see an inconsistency in the glass. It does not affect the picture. Separation is fixable if you decide to rehouse the lens for cinema use.)

The last photo is a still from a feature film the lens was just used on.
