The Hungary 10 Pengo Banknote was issued by the Hungarian National Bank in 1936 in a color combination of green, red, and purple. The banknote bears Hungarian text. Its obverse features a seated Mary and baby Jesus, stylized flowers, and a young woman with grapes and leaves. On the reverse are the Hungarian crowned coat of arms and the equestrian statue of St. Stephen. The paper bill does not contain a security thread and watermark. It is 163 x 72 mm in size and is signed by Erney, Bela Imredy, and Lipot Baranyai. This particular banknote is in used condition.
