This listing is for an INCREDIBLY RARE “index” type card inscribed, signed, and dated by former Parkland Hospital psychiatrist Dr. William Beavers, now deceased.

Beavers’ inscription on the card mentions Jack Ruby.

William Robert Beavers (1929 - October 24, 2019)

William Beavers was a psychiatrist at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas when the assassination of President John F. Kennedy took place in November of 1963.

The family of Jack Ruby, who was the killer of Lee Harvey Oswald, later hired Beavers to conduct a psychiatric evaluation of Ruby. Beavers examined Ruby a total of nine separate times and was also present during Ruby’s polygraph test.

Dr. Beavers testified in Ruby’s murder trial. He told the jury that Ruby was “psychotic depressive.” He was also interviewed by the Warren Commission and told them the same.
