Small 1933 hallmarked silver and snake skin covered glass hip flask.

The snake skin is really unusual in colour and pattern as well as being in excellent condition.

Fits into the palm of your hand and holds 1/16 pint.

Made by James Dixon & Sons Ltd and hallmarked in Sheffield. The cap has the date letter for 1933 and the cup 1930. Not unusual for the dates not to match as the fittings were made in batches and then put together when the flask was assembled.

It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap and removable cup.

Height 4 inches 10 cm

Width 2 3/8 inches 6  cm

Depth 3/4 inch 1.8 cm.

The condition is excellent and the flask is liquid tight with no leakage.

The skin is also excellent with no tears or splits.

Surface marks to the cup form age and use but nothing you wouldn't expect to see on a flask this old.

It's been cleaned and the cork has been replace to ensure it's as hygienic as possible to use.

A lovely usable piece.

Will be sent in a free gift box.
