This is a awesome Pre-Rookie 1983 Bo Jackson TYPE 1 Original Photo. In this incredible image you see a close-up action shot of Bo being used in the run game as a lead blocker for team captain Lionel James. This was captured during the Sugar Bowl against Michigan leading to the SEC Championship. This was taken during the 1983 season but since they made it to the Bowl Game it was captured in 1984. For those young collectors that never turned the TV on in the late 80's and early 90's, it would be hard to mistake Bo as the best all around athletes. Nike went on a "Bo Knows" campaign showing Bo playing every sport across the board. This was easily believable because if you turned on your TV during baseball season you would see him playing for the Royals scaling the outfield wall or during football season watching him running over Brian Bosworth while playing for the Raiders. Everyone knew that Bo was a dominating force and couldn't wait to watch what he could do next. Unfortunately he was railed by a career ending hip injury that would halt his career. This moment was crushing in the sports who could have been one of the greatest athletes in history limited to very short baseball and football careers.
