Exoderil by the pharmaceutical company Sandoz is a medicinal product that is used to treat skin and foot fungus, especially between the toes, the bottom of the foot (differentiated as redness, peeling and swelling or itchy blisters) on the nails. It is also recommended for bacterial infections and is particularly suitable against yeasts, molds, etc. It is available in a 20 ml package.
Exoderil 1% solution is applied to the affected areas once a day. These areas should be cleaned and dried carefully before the solution is applied. The solution can be applied directly from the vial using a guttator or on a piece of cotton.
Despite rapid improvement of symptoms (itching, redness, etc.), it is important for patients with fungal skin infections to continue treatment for 2 weeks after complete resolution of symptoms to prevent recurrence.
Before and after treating a fungal infection, nails should be kept as short as possible and their surface filed.
