A bronze Victoria veiled head farthing dated 1895. The portrait on farthings changed in 1895 and the mintage figure was split between the bun head and the veiled head, rendering both scarce. The bronze farthing was introduced in 1860. Before 1860 they were copper and larger. For those not familiar with these charming little bronze coins, they are about the size of a new penny. The farthing was produced until 1956 but withdrawn in 1960. Many thanks for looking.
