Large printed map of Latvia, by the Peeter Mantnieks' kartogrfijas instituts. At the top of the map, a decorative view, along with the words " Dievs sveti Latviju," the Latvian National Anthem. Peeter Mantnieka's Cartographic Institute began its business in the 1920s in Riga. Mantnieka developed the thriving map and atlas business during the Soviet Occupation, but ultimately went into exile in 1944 and relocated his operations to Brussels.
