Dischi freno EBC. PRODOTTO NEL REGNO UNITO.
L''obiettivo dello sviluppo è migliorare le prestazioni di frenata rispetto al disco freno originale. EBC utilizza acciaio HPSR a basso tenore di carbonio, che ha un coefficiente di attrito superiore del 18%. Questo acciaio è molto più resistente alla ruggine rispetto all''acciaio fuso. Inoltre, l''intera superficie è protetta da uno strato di zinco spesso 3 micron, che si consuma nella zona di contatto delle pastiglie dei freni già durante la frenata. Solo in questa zona può formarsi una leggera ossidazione dopo un lungo periodo di utilizzo.
I dischi freno sono forati a gabbia per ottenere il minor numero possibile di fori ottimizzando la pulizia del disco freno dall''acqua piovana e dalla polvere dei freni. Minore è il numero di fori, migliore è la prestazione dei freni sul bagnato e minore è l''usura.

- Superficie frenante forata con uno schema di foratura ottimizzato.
- Radialmente rettificato.
- Zincato per proteggerlo dalla corrosione.
- EBC consiglia le pastiglie dei freni EBC Organic o, per i conducenti sportivi, le pastiglie dei freni sinterizzate EBC Double-H.
